Senior Company

Leyna Ball is a sophomore at Meadowdale High School. Leyna enrolled at Barclay Shelton Dance Centre in 2013. In 2020, she joined Junior Company and, 2023 Senior Company. Leyna has a passion for dance and theatrics, enjoys science and social studies, participates in chamber orchestra at school, and she is bilingual in English and Japanese. Outside of dance, Leyna loves spending time with family and friends, swimming, playing tennis, and travelling around the world. Leyna appreciates her family, friends, dance instructors, and all Company members for their assistance and support. Leyna is proud to be associated with great dancers and instructors at Barclay Shelton Dance Centre.

Max Clapper is a senior at Scriber Lake High School. This is Max’s seventh and final season with Barclay Shelton and third year in Senior Company. Max spent one year in junior company in eighth grade. Outside of dance and school Max is a big fan of music and loves live shows. Max is so thankful for family, friends, fellow company members, and of course the amazing dance teachers who have helped them so much over the years.

Gemma Culp is a Junior at Edmonds-Woodway High School and has been dancing for thirteen years at Barclay Shelton. This is her third year as a Sr. Company member - after 4 years in Jr. Company and a year as an apprentice. When she isn’t in the Barclay Shelton Dance Studio, Gemma is a full IB Diploma student and a cheerleader at Edmonds-Woodway High School. She also enjoys working as a hostess at Five Bistro, being a part of her high school tennis team, and spending time with friends and family. Gemma would like to thank her parents for supporting her in everything she does. She also would like to thank her fellow dancers and friends who have influenced and motivated her to be the dancer she is today, and most of all thank you to her incredible dance teachers for pushing her to be the best she can be.

Jenna Curtis is a senior at Edmonds Woodway High School as well as Edmonds Community College as a running start student and will be attending Boise State in the fall for nursing. She has been dancing at Barclay Shelton for eight years, and this is her third year in senior company. Outside of dance, Jenna enjoys watching sunsets, hanging out with friends and family, playing tennis and traveling! Jenna would like to thank all her fellow dancers for such amazing memories, her family and friends for always supporting her, and her dance teachers for helping her become the dancer she is today! Dance has always been so special to Jenna and as she begins her next chapter after this year she will forever have a special place in her heart for dance as well as all the memories and lessons learned.

Madigan Drennan is a junior at Bishop Blanchet High School and has been dancing at Barclay Shelton for eight years. This is her third year in Senior Company after three years in Junior Company. Outside of dance, Madigan loves spending time with her family and friends and swimming, reading, and traveling. She also finds joy in helping teach the younger dancers. Madigan is thankful for her family for supporting her in everything she does and all of her teachers who have made her the person and dancer she is today. She is also grateful for her friends who encourage her every day at dance.

Stella Erickson Cuellar is a senior at Shorewood High school. She has been dancing for 15 years, and has been dancing at Barclay Shelton for 7 years. This is her third year in Senior Company, an opportunity she is so grateful for. Outside of dance, Stella enjoys spending more time in the arts by drawing and painting, and enjoys creating art with her close friends. Stella would like to thank her family and friends for their unwavering encouragement for her passion for dance. She also wants to thank her mom, who has supported her throughout her whole dancing career. Stella looks forward to sharing the Company’s hard work at her last show, and hopes to continue dancing later in life!

Elisabeth Farstad is a Junior at King’s High School. She has been dancing for 13 years and this is her third year in Senior Company! Elisabeth loves to dance, sing, and play the piano. Elisabeth enjoys spending time at her church's youth group. She also loves to be with her friends and family. Elisabeth is grateful for her family and friends who always support her and are there for her. She would like to also thank her wonderful dance teachers who have helped her become the dancer she is today!

Kate Fuller is a junior at Edmonds Woodway High School. She’s been dancing for twelve years and this is her first year in Senior Company. Outside of dance Kate loves to bake, work with kids, and hang out with her family. Kate would like to thank her incredible family who has supported her through everything. Especially her sister who has helped, supported, and been such an amazing person to look up to. She also wants to thank all the dance teachers who have helped her learn so much and gotten her to where she is as a dancer.

Maia Haldeman is a sophomore at King’s High School, and has been dancing at Barclay Shelton for thirteen years. This is her second year in Senior Company, after spending four years as a Junior Company member. Outside of dance, Maia enjoys reading, football, crafting, spending time with friends and family, and traveling. Maia would like to thank her family and friends, who have supported her always, and her dance teachers who have helped and inspired her to become the dancer she is today. She is also so grateful for her fellow dancers and company members who have become a second family and the best community a dancer could ask for!

Lucy Inglin is a 9th grader at King’s High School. She has been dancing for 10 years and this is her 5th year performing in Dance Theatrics. When Lucy is not dancing, you will find her running cross country or performing in musical theatre. She would like to thank her family for their support, her dance teachers who inspire her love of dance and her best friend Alexa who is always there as her biggest cheerleader.

Sophia Inglin is a senior at King’s High School and has been dancing since she was 3. This is her 8th year in company. Besides dancing, Sophia loves to run cross country and track and perform musical theatre. She would like to thank her parents for always supporting her and her dog for being the best audience when she practices.

Lucie Ingram is a freshman at Edmonds Woodway High School. She’s been dancing for 10 years. This is her first year dancing at Barclay Shelton as well as being in Senior Company. She loves to dance, sing and spend time with her friends. Lucie would like to thank her family for supporting and for their love and care.

Darby Kelly is a sophomore at Edmonds Woodway. This is her second year as a member of Senior Company after being on Junior Company for four years. She has been dancing at Barclay Shelton since she was three years old. Darby also loves running cross country and track for her school and enjoys drawing. She would like to thank her dance teachers for teaching her everything about dance and her friends and family for their continuous support and encouragement.

Carly Lukson is a senior at King’s High School. She has been dancing at Barclay Shelton for eleven years. This is her fourth year in Senior Company, after being an apprentice in eighth grade. She also spent four years in Junior Company. In her free time, Carly enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She would like to thank all of her teachers and classmates for making Barclay Shelton such a positive environment. Most of all, she thanks her family for their unconditional love and support.

Kate Morgan is a freshman at Edmonds Woodway High School and still cherishes her memories of being in Miss Pam's Combo class. With 11 years at Barclay Shelton, this is her first year in Sr. Company after enjoying 4 year in Jr. Company. Outside of dance, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and helping out at her family-owned flower shop. She is incredibly grateful for her dance teachers and fellow company members for creating such a welcoming and supportive community.

Adison Oliver is a senior at Edmonds Woodway High School and has been dancing at Barclay Shelton for 14 years. This marks her fourth and final year as a Senior Company member, following four years in Junior Company. Outside of dance, Adison enjoys spending time with her family, friends, participating in school sports, babysitting, and giving back to the community. Next year, Adison plans to attend a four year university and hopes to continue pursuing her passion for dance. She would like to express her heartfelt gratitude to her family and friends for their unwavering support and to her dance teachers for helping her grow into the dancer she is today.

Ava Oliver is a Junior at Edmonds Woodway. She has been dancing at Barclay Shelton since she was three years old. This is her third year as a member of Senior Company. Dancing is Ava’s favorite activity, but she also loves cheering at her high school and playing tennis. Ava is currently in the Full IB program at Edmonds Woodway, and she also is a member of ASB. Ava will always have a special spot for dance in her heart. She would love to thank all of her friends and family who support her in everything she does. She is also incredibly thankful for her dance teachers and friends, who making dancing so fun.

Rosa Olson is a freshmen at Inglemoor high-school. This is her first year in Sr. Company and her 5th year in company over all. Rosa has been dancing at Barclay Shelton ever since she was 3 and has been loving it ever since. Outside of the studio you can find Rosa doing theater through her school, hanging out with friends and singing her heart out. She would like to thank her amazing dance community and dance teachers who helped her grow and become the dancer she is today. She would also like the thank her parents and friends for helping her balance her busy schedule and driving me to all of my classes. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Lucia Rigsby is a junior at Shorecrest High School and has been a dancer for fourteen years. This year is her third year in Senior Company after spending one year as an apprentice and four years in Junior Company. When she’s not dancing at Barclay Shelton, Lucia loves to crochet and sew, as well as perform on her school’s hip hop team. Lucia is so grateful for her family members who always encourage her to achieve her goals, her dance teachers who constantly inspire her to be a better dancer, and her fellow company members who make dance feel like home.

Nola Ruhlman is a freshman at King's High School and has been dancing at Barclay Shelton for 10 years. This is her first year in Senior Company after 3 years in Junior Company. When not dancing, Nola plays club volleyball for All Out as well as her highschool team. Nola is extremely grateful for the opportunity to dance at Barclay Shelton learning from the greats: Stacie, Nicole, Leanne, Pam and Jenny. Nola thanks the older Sr. Co. girls for the warm welcome, her parents for their support and her friends for their encouragement.

Kailani Terwilliger is a junior at Edmonds-Woodway highschool. She has loved her journey through her highschool years and is excited to round out her time at Edmonds-Woodway with her senior year. She is a proud member of her school's ASB and in her third year she holds the position of treasurer on the exec board. Next year, she aspires to be the ASB President. Kailani has begun to look ahead into future colleges and hopes to attend one of the many art schools in California to study film and television production. Kailani can often be found painting and sketching in her free time which is a talent she aims to take with her into her future career. Kailani also enjoys cooking and baking for her family and friends. This cooking frenzy was sparked after she took several chef classes at her highschool. This is Kailani’s fourteenth year dancing at Barclay Shelton and she has loved getting to create a family through dance which she feels incredibly lucky to have. Kailani is looking forward to all of the things to come in the next two years and she is so grateful for all her friends and family who have been by her side throughout all the ups and downs through the past two years. Kailani is lloking forward to everything that lies ahead of her and is more than ready to take the next step in her journey.

Maggie Warner is a junior at Edmonds-Woodway high school in her eleventh year dancing at Barclay Shelton. This is her third year as a member of Senior Company after four years in Junior company, and one year as an apprentice. Involved in her school community, Maggie is on her school's cheer squad, tennis team, and is also a member of DECA club where she competes in the entrepreneurship category. When she is not dancing, Maggie enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She wants to thank her parents for all of the support and opportunities they've given her. She also wants to show appreciation to her friends at dance, who help make it so much fun.

Chloe Williams is a senior at Edmonds-Woodway high school, and has been dancing at Barclay Shelton for 12 years. This is her third year in Senior Company, and fifth year as a company member. Outside of dance, Chloe loves spending time at the gym, hanging out with friends and family, and traveling. Chloe would like to thank her family for supporting her throughout her dancing career, and everything else she does. She would also like to thank her dance teachers for taking time to get to know her as a person, and support her throughout dance.
Junior Company
7th & 8th Grade

Elsie Ball is in 7th grade at Madrona K-8 and this is her 10th year dancing at Barclay Shelton. This is her first year in Junior Company. Outside of dance, Elsie enjoys spending time with her friends and family, listening to music, and sewing. Elsie would like to thank her friends and family for supporting her.

Brianna Barth is a seventh grader at King’s Junior High and she has been dancing at Barclay Shelton for ten years. This is her third year in Junior Company, and she is having a blast! Aside, from dance love to plays soccer and enjoys being athletic. Brianna is thankful for her wonderful friends, family and the supportive teachers at Barclay Shelton who have taught and inspired her throughout her dance journey!

Annie Booth is an 8th grader at Classical Christian Academy. She has been dancing at Barclay Shelton since preschool. This is Annie's 3rd year as a member of Junior Company. Besides dance, Annie likes to sing, spend time with friends, attend youth group and loves going on trips with her family. Annie is thankful for her family's support and for driving her to dance every week night.

Jillian Cook is an 8th grader at Edmonds Heights, and has been dancing at Barclay Shelton for nine years. This is her first year as a Junior Company member. Outside of dance, Jillian enjoys babysitting, spending time with friends and family, and volunteering at her church. Jillian would like to thank her family and friends for their support in all the things she does, and her dance teachers for helping her become the dancer she is now, but mostly she would love to thank her mom for putting her in dance and getting her to her classes every evening.

Marina Dire is in 7th grade at College Place Middle School. This is her 10th year at Barclay Shelton and 2nd year in Junior Company. Marina loves dance, but she also has many other interests. She plays basketball, volleyball, and started doing cross country this year. She loves to watch sports on TV, spend time with her friends, and draw. Marina would like to thank her sisters, grandparents, and mom and dad for always supporting her.

Charlotte Garton is a 7th grader at Meadowdale Middle School, and has been dancing at Barclay Shelton for 9 years. This is her 3rd year in Jr. Company. Outside of dance, Charlotte enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Charlotte is very thankful for her family who has supported her throughout dance. She would also like to thank her dance teachers who have made her the dancer she is today.

Kinley Kuala is in seventh grade at Holy Rosary School in Edmonds. She has been dancing at Barclay Shelton for ten years. This is her second year in Junior Company. Outside of dance Kinley loves hanging out with friends and writing short stories. Kinley would like to thank her loving family and friends for helping support her achieve her goals, and her incredible dance teachers who have made her the dancer she is today. She would also like to thank her fellow company members who continue to inspire her to become a better dancer, and who have become great friends over the past two years.

Natalie Kuehn is a seventh grader at Holy Rosary and has been dancing for 10 years. This is her third year in Junior Company. Outside of dance she loves spending time with her family and friends, playing tennis, volleyball, soccer and camping. Natalie is grateful for her family, and friends as well as her dance teachers who support her; especially Miss Pam, Miss Nicole and Miss Stacie. She really appreciates her fellow company members for making every rehearsal so much fun!

Ava Larson is an 8th grader at Kings Junior High and this is her second year with Junior Company. Ava started dancing at age 4 and has danced with Barclay Shelton for five years. While dance is Ava’s first love she also keeps busy with volleyball, swimming, tennis, and skiing. Ava is thankful for her friends and family who love her and for her amazing Barclay Shelton dance teachers that have supported her throughout the years.

Isabella Leitner is a 7th grader at Einstein Middle School and has been dancing at Barclay Shelton for 10 years. This is her third year in Junior Company. When she isn’t dancing she plays soccer, goes skiing, likes to bake, sings her favorite songs and spends time with her friends and family. Isabella is thankful to all her teachers over the years that helped inspire her love for dance. She is also grateful for her parents who encouraged her to follow her dreams and for getting her to all her dance classes.

Finley McDonald is in 7th grade at Kings Junior High. This is her first year in junior company and she’s been dancing for the last 10 years. Outside of dance, Finley enjoys her friends, her two sisters, running, and music. Finley is grateful for her family, her teachers, her dance instructors, and her friends.

Ella Montzingo is an 8th grader at Kings Junior High school. She has been dancing at Barclay Shelton for 8 years, and this is her 1st year as the Junior Company member. When she is not dancing she enjoys hanging out with friends and family, cooking, going on walks with her dog Lemon, and doing creative projects. Ella would like to thank her parents for driving her to every dance class, and her siblings and extended family for being so supportive. Most importantly she would like to thank all her dance teachers and fellow company members for teaching her everything she knows and being so welcoming.

Emery Pawling is an eighth grader at College Place Middle School. She has been dancing at Barclay Shelton for nine years now. This is her first year in Jr Company. With her free time she enjoys hanging out with her friends and family. What makes Emery so unique is her sense of humor and her excitement in learning new things. Emery is very grateful for her Mother and her friends for making her the person she is today, And her wonderful dance teachers for making her the dancer she is today.

Ella Roark is in eighth grade at Meadowdale Middle School, and has been dancing at Barclay Shelton for ten years. This is her third year in Junior Company. Outside of dance Ella likes to spend time with her friends and family, read, and stay involved with her church’s youth group. Ella would like to thank all of the Junior Company members for always being there for her, and her dance teachers who have taught her everything she knows about dance. Most of all, she is grateful for her family who has helped her become the dancer and person she is today.

Piper Suzuki is in 7th grade at Einstein Middle School. She's been dancing for four years, and this is her second year as a Junior Company member. Outside of dance, Piper likes to play lacrosse, hang out with friends, and listen to Sabrina Carpenter. Piper would like to thank her teachers for making her the dancer she is, and her family for driving her to all of her classes.

Scarlett Tiegen is currently in the eighth grade at College Place Middle School. She has been dancing since the age of three and at Barclay Shelton for the last nine years. This is her fourth year in the Junior Company, which she loves being a part of! For the last few years, she has been volunteering as a teacher’s assistant for two of the Barclay combo dance classes - she loves little kids! Scarlett also enjoys playing soccer, listening to music and spending time with her family, friends and her puppy Baylor. Scarlett would like to thank her family, friends, coaches, teachers, fellow dancers, and her dance instructors who inspire her to be the best dancer she can be.

Frankie Traynor is a 7th grader at Holy Rosary and has been dancing at Barclay Shelton for 10 years. This is her 2nd year in Junior Company. When not dancing, Frankie enjoys playing soccer, volleyball and softball as well as spending time with her friends and family. Frankie would like to thank her parents, family and friends for all of their support and encouragement to do what she loves. She is grateful for all of the time and effort that her dance teachers have dedicated to her as well as the cherished friendships she has made along the way. She looks forward to several more years of dancing for Barclay Shelton and the memories that will be made.
5th & 6th Grade

Nellie Benn is a 6th grader at St. Luke School in Shoreline. She started dancing at the age of three, and is in her 8th year at Barclay Shelton, and 2nd year in Junior Company. Aside from dance, she likes to ski, play volleyball, softball, basketball, and swim. Nellie loves musical theatre, hanging out with friends, going to school, and singing. She is thankful for her parents, who make going to dance possible, and for her fellow dancers and instructors, who make every day fun. She would like to say one especially important thank you to her sister, Mazie, who makes everyone she meets feel loved.

Sadie Bradshaw is in the sixth grade at Edmonds Elementary. Sadie has been dancing at Barclay Shelton since she was four. This is her first year in Junior Company. Sadie’s interests outside of dance are creating art, reading, playing piano and the flute, and hanging out with friends and family. Sadie would like to thank her family for supporting her in her love for dance, and her teachers for guiding her every step of the way throughout all of her years at Barclay Shelton, making her a better dancer and person.

Luella Brown is in sixth grade at Christ the King Catholic School and has been dancing at Barclay Shelton since she was four. This is her second year in Jr. Company. Outside of dance Luella enjoys reading, basketball, volleyball, and spending time with friends and family. Luella wants to thank her parents for being so supportive to her commitments, her grandparents for driving her to classes and her teachers for helping her become such a strong dancer.

Posey Brown is a 5th grader at Christ the King school, and this is her 8th year dancing at Barclay Shelton. This is her first year in Junior Company. Outside of dance class, Posey likes to participate in the CYO sports hosted by her school, and spending time with all her friends. Posey would like to thank all her dance teachers over the years, along with her family. But she’s most thankful for Ms. Stacie and Ms. Nicole for being so kind and helpful during this year in Junior Company, and in her technique classes.

Hadley Christensen is a 6th grader at Sherwood Elementary School. She started dancing at the age of 4 and joined Barclay Shelton in Kindergarten. This marks her seventh year dancing with the studio and her second year as a member of the Junior Company. When Hadley is not dancing she enjoys playing basketball, soccer, hanging out with friends, spending time with family, and playing with her dog Griffey. Hadley is thankful to be part of a supportive team of dancers and teachers who challenge her to keep growing and improving in her technique.

Coco Hooks is a 6th grader at Madrona Middle School. She has been dancing since she was 3 years old and has been at Barclay Shelton since first grade and this is her second year of Junior Company. Outside of dance, Coco loves playing soccer, playing saxophone and flute and spending time with friends and family. Coco would like to thank her amazing dance teachers who help her improve her skills everyday and friends and family for cheering her on!

Ella Ingram is a sixth grader at Madrona K-8. She’s been dancing for 6 years. This her first year at Barclay Shelton as well as being in the Jr company. She loves to dance and spend time with her family and two bunnies. She’s very grateful for her supportive family and friends.

Nadia Leckie is a sixth grader at Sherwood. She has been dancing with Barclay Shelton since she was three, and this is her second year in Junior Company. Nadia loves being on stage, on a soccer field and basketball court, playing beach volleyball, and swimming. She cherishes spending time with family and friends and exploring new and familiar places (such as Sephora and Starbucks). Nadia would like to thank her mom, sister Amara, Adison, Emily, Jenna, dance friends, her teachers, and Taylor Swift for continuing her love for dance.

Morgan Mackerer is in 6th grade at Sherwood Elementary in Edmonds, WA. She is in her eighth year of dancing at Barclay Shelton and her second year in Junior Company. Outside of dance, Morgan enjoys time with her friends, playing soccer and basketball, skiing, and cooking. Morgan would like to thank her dance teachers and her family and friends for all of their support.

McKayla Mullen is a sixth grader at Einstein Middle School in Shoreline. She has been dancing at Barclay Shelton for 8 years, and this is her first year being a part of the Junior Company. McKayla likes to hang out with friends and family while not dancing and enjoys all arts and crafts. Soccer, golf, and volleyball are other sports she participates in throughout the year. McKayla is most grateful to Barclay Shelton for helping her grow as a well-rounded dancer, and to her family and friends who support her dancing.

Leona Sengul is a sixth grader at Einstein Middle School. While this is Leona’s third year dancing at Barclay Shelton, and her first year as a member of Junior Company, she has also danced at ARC Ballet and Exit Space. When she isn’t dancing, you can find Leona reading, spending time with her friends and family, baking, skiing, and playing the viola. She is very grateful for the opportunity to perform and the support from her community, including her parents, grandparents, friends, cousins, family, teachers, and dance instructors.

Rooney So is a sixth grader at Cedar Park Christian School Lynnwood. She has been dancing for ten years, and has been in Jr. Company for two. She also loves music and can play the cello, ukulele, and guitar. Rooney is a yellow belt in Jiu-jitsu, and part of orchestra and the robotics club at school. Rooney is grateful for her parents for providing her an opportunity to be part of a great dance studio. She is most thankful that God gave her the ability to dance.

Skylar Stone is a vibrant 5th grader at Holy Rosary with a passion for dance, soccer, and making memories with her friends and family. She has been dancing at Barclay Shelton since she was three years old, and this year marks her exciting debut in Junior Company. Known for her curiosity, warmth, and just the right amount of spunk, Skylar brings energy and joy wherever she goes. She is deeply grateful for her family, faith, friends, and the supportive community around her.

Koa Terwilliger is in 6th grade at Seaview Elementary. He has been dancing at Barclay Shelton for the past 3 years and this is his first year in Junior Company. When Koa isn’t dancing, he is hanging out with his friends (whether it being online or in person), doing many extracurricular activities, spending time with his family, and studying his favorite subject, geography. Koa is incredibly thankful for all the support his family gives him, the incredible teachers at Barclay Shelton who help make Koa a better dancer, and his teachers who fill him with new knowledge every single day.

Breya Will is a 6th grader at Sherwood Elementary who has been taking dance classes since she was 4 years old, and dancing since before she could walk. This is Breya’s second year in Junior Company. When she’s not dancing, Breya loves swimming, playing volleyball and basketball, baking, organizing, and being a Girl Scout. Breya would like to thank Barclay Shelton, and all of the amazing dance teachers over the years who have been a part of helping her to learn about, and love dance.

Nora Zirkle is a 5th Grader at Sherwood Elementary School in Edmonds. She is in her 8th year dancing at Barclay Shelton, and her first year in Junior Company. When Nora isn't at the studio dancing, she can be found on the soccer field. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, drawing and has been known to knit and crochet in her spare time as well. Nora also likes to stay involved in school activities like her school Council. She would like to thank her family for being so supportive of her in all that she does, and is very grateful to all of her dance teachers for showing and influencing her love for dance.
